This would be a damn good reason to go to the beach!
Not being able to find the hours they are open, I took public transit to the Fort MacArthur museum. I was 20 blocks short, all up the steepest hill in San Pedro California.
Took a small gadget bag with 2 dSLR's and 2 lenses. Have problems with the old ticker, so I was panting by the time I found the locked gate.
I lost the pics I took the last time I was there due to an HD failure, but I was carrying a 60+ LB packpack bag with 2 camera bodies, 8 lenses and a crapload of accessories!
I must have covered miles with that load. I hit the museum, the Korean Friendship Bell, the Point Fermin Light House, Cabrillo Beach, the Sea Mammal rehab center, and the Cabrillo Aquarium.
It really sucks getting old! I will plan for Saturday. Gonna hire a cab for the uphill stuff. I want to hit the same places as before in one day.
If I run into something that looks this hot, I am going play the dottering old man and shoot the Hell out her. I may take my macro to count the pores on her titties! If she has freckles, I will print an image and play connect the dots with a Sharpie!
