GOODSTUFF said he calculated the wave propagation at 149,000 ms. I'm not sure he took the density of the medium into account. So I posted it again...for peer review purposes, yeah, that's it. And research, yeah. And maybe so I could make sure it ends up in the Rule 5 pile over at RSM. Besides, you can never have too much...SCIENCE! Newton would be proud.
You are a gentleman and a scholar, sir.
ReplyDeleteAnd there's damned few of us left.
Newton was a prude, a misogynist, and needed more fiber in his diet.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Franklin would have definitely approved, especially during one of his "air baths" in France.
HE was also an alchemist, but I don't hold it against him, Critter. I'd hold it against them though. Laws of motion and all, you know.
ReplyDeleteI call BS on the posted wave propagation number!
ReplyDeleteIt's precisely 1.1 Derriere/sec. (SKS units)*
*Snooch-Kilogram-Sec units
And...BTW..the density of the medium is about 0.98 Yummies per cu-cm.
