That is a fantastic quote! The entire left in America is an olio of disparate and often competing pressure groups. The carpet munchers, rod smokers, blacks, Hispanics, and the like can all claim "Victim" status.
But now that the left has claimed that climate skepticism is not different than Holocaust denial, the tree huggers are the new Jews. In short, they get to claim they are as persecuted as the most persecuted minority on Earth!
