Looked at the original of this video. An episode of the Amazing Race, where in contestants do stupid things for money and 15 minutes of Fame. She was sitting up and talking, but probably had a concussion and they told her she had to finish the event. I would have flipped the bird and told them where to stick the rest of those melons.
It's a damn good thing they were using melons and not something solid. That "splatter" would have been her brains had it been something only slightly more dense. Cupid stunt.
BTW, is there any way someone could talk Obongo into doing this for the Easter Egg Roll at the WH in a few weeks? :-)
Pretty fucking stupid stunt and poorly designed equipment. Fruit or not, this could easily have been fatal.
i run across these injury videos frequently. I fail to see the humor in any of them. Assuming it wasn't faked, the guy in the motorcycle jump .gif the other day is probably a paraplegic now. hahahaha, isn't that a hoot?? sick fux.

A little lower and she would have been seriously "with child"! Would that then be considered a "melon in the oven"?
I mean ... damn! See the way the the melon splatters when it impacts? Bet some went up her nose.
BTW: where is that battery of ballistas? I want to go play there ...
Might want to rethink the melon cup on that ballista if it has that much trouble turning loose of the payload.
