Well, let's see: the IPCC finally admitted that there has been no warming for at least the last 17 or 18 years (but don't mention that, because the True Believers will say you are lying.)
According to some paleoclimatologists, carbon dioxide levels have been 10 times higher today at least twice in the distant past: one time the planet had a tropical climate world-wide, the other time the planet was undergoing an ice age. (But, don't mention this bit of history, because the True Believers will wish to burn you at the stake as a heretic.)
So, 4000 ppm CO2 and no runaway greenhouse effect. I thought CO2 was THE climate driver.
Too bad there is not an edit button! The first sentence in the second paragraph should read "... have been 10 thime higer than today ..."
I need to proofread twice before I press the publish button.
I want to know if the Norwegians will ask for their Nobel Peace Prize back.

I am going to set up a demonstration piece to explain the "Global
Warming" issue for complete idiots. I have a plastic Tidy Cat container
that I will fill with 9,996 pennies.
Of the 4 more I will set aside, I will cut one of them in half.
The 3-1/2 pennies will represent the total concentration of CO2 in the atmosphere. This is something we used to call trace levels!
But it gets better: Nature contributes about 97% of all CO2.
This means that nature accounts for .03395 cents out of the 3-1/3
pennies that are left.
Therefore, mans contribution is about .00105 cents out of the 3-
1/2 pennies.
