ICYMI: Re-Release Of Flash Gordon and Capt. Victory Comics

I found this on Teh Twit. Okay, they're not re-releases--these are entirely new artists and writers, but the look is pretty cool...

And from Captain Victory and the Galactic Rangers...

"Dynamite has had middling success with its (licensed property) strategy over the last decade, but it has considerably upped its game for its 10th anniversary year, starting with an outstanding relaunch of the Gold Key (remember Gold Key?) line of superhero titles, which includes Turok: Dinosaur Hunter, Magnus: Robot Fighter, Solar: Man Of The Atom, and Doctor Spector."

Wanna start taking bets that they will turn Flash
Gordon into a rod-smoking homo?

If not that, a Pakistani immigrant.

They are going to fuck it up. You know it. I know it. The world knows it.

Flash Gordon will be a girl. This could be good.

Flash Gordon will only be a girl if she is also a
one-eyed mutant lesbian. The rod-smokers have
completely taken over the comic book industry!
9 year old boys have not changed that much since
1965. No kid is going to collect an anti-American
Superman or a homo Flash. Before he is declared
politically incorrect for being a heterosexual,
here he is as he was:

Leonard, I had the complete set of Alex Raymond's Flash Gordon comics in one volume, full color. Great work.

Those Gold Key comics of Magnus: Robot Fighter were the bomb. I still have some of them packed away, somewhere.

We would all be millionaires if we had all the toys
and comic books we had when we were young in pristine
condition.
