Fellas, I've been trying to compose the equations to describe the wave action here. But of course, the 3D nature of the multiple wave propagation makes it very difficult to model with differential equations. Any help would be appreciated.
I think there might be an 'energy input' off camera (in my experience that would disqualify it as a perpetual motion machine). I'd be interested in giving her a try, however. -DV

You guys know who this is, right?
Gawd, I do love me some under-damped two-body oscillatory motion!
I'd love to have a Newtownian Perpetual Motion Machine like that.

A "Newtownian Perpetual Motion Machine" would be the MSM forever pushing for more gun control, wouldn't it?
Now that you mention it, Drew, I believe we may be on to something. :-)
FS - I attempted the same thing - and found myself "distracted" for some reason
I suspect a 3nd-rank tensor formulation might cover it concisely - but who has the time?
