And what better place to sell this scam than the Maldives, where the government continues to plead for the UN to take US dollars and give it to them because of !!!Sea Level Rise!!! Since first making this plea--#ForTheChildren--the government has also built five new (underwater) airports. Enter this guy, who only wants $30 million for his boondoggle:

The Sustainable Floating Island was presented to the Maldivian Government and official authorizations were issued as well as an island location for the development of the Sustainable Floating Island in the Republic of the Maldives.
As of today, the SFI project in the Maldives is “shovel ready” and we are seeking a $30,000,000 loan from investors / partners.

Somehow, the image of shoveling the water out of the ocean is the perfect visual for a environmental loony !
