Don't know about this one. If somebody told me back in 1965 that Superman turned anti-American and renounced his citizenship, and that the Green Lantern was a rod-smoker, I would have burned my comic book collection! I am not sure I could find a super hero I could admire these days.
Are there any comic book characters out there that do not look like they belonged in the big dance scene near the end of Blazing Saddles or were a member of some exalted racial minority? Inquiring minds want to know.
