Well, I Guess I Can Get Rid Of That Content Warning

This morning I logged in to she how shitty my stats were only to learn they are about to get even shittier. On my dashboard was this happy message:
On March 23rd, Blogger will no longer allow certain sexually explicit content. Learn more here.
I'll save you the trouble, it says the snooch police will be taking over Blogger. No more pink, only the #GovernmentIssueGray of the FCC.
Starting March 23, 2015, you won't be able to publicly share images and video that are sexually explicit or show graphic nudity on Blogger.
Note: We’ll still allow nudity if the content offers a substantial public benefit, for example in artistic, educational, documentary, or scientific contexts.
Now, of course, my first reaction was...

But then I thought...Educational? Scientific? I'm sensing the possibility of some outs here. I mean, Soylent is nothing if not all about...
Then there's that whole I-know-it-when-I-see-it issue with defining "explicit" and "graphic." But beyond that, I think these poltroons can be hanged by their own zeal to be inoffensive.
How about this proposal--I post nothing but lesbians for the next month (trannies would be better--from an educational standpoint--but for my purposes lesbians will do) and when they censor the blog as explicit and graphic, I sue because Google finds lesbians offensive. Deep pockets...Deep.

So, Katy, do you think I have a case? ;-)
BTW, that does embiggenify. because #MotherfuckingScience.

3D Printed Fibonacci Sculptures With Xtra Awesome

These are incredible. They look like just very cool sculptures...until you see them spun or filmed under a strobe light. Then this happens...

That second one reminds me of a Burgess Shale critter.

Motherfucking Science WTF

This is mesmerizing even though I don't know what it is. What are the two fluids? How were they disturbed in a confined space...an explosive? Or is it all a supercomputer simulation?

Ariel Does Real Sweaterpuppy Interferometry

Now that's Motherfucking Science.

Boy, Lubos Is Really Tired Of Brian Cox

No, not the actor--everybody loves him--the physicist, best known here in the states as the presenter of Wonders of the Solar System. Well, Cox is one of those trying to cash in on the Thermageddon gravy train. But Lubos, who knows a thing or two about physics, counts that as only one of the many incompetencies Cox displays with a 99.9999-percent confidence level.
"It's not just the lunar phases or locality or the exclusion principle that he totally misunderstands (be sure that I haven't discussed every misconception of his that has made me very angry). He actually doesn't build on science; he builds on licking the rectums of the powerful and those who are brainwashed by currently fashionable political deviations. Cox is a kitsch for the least demanding audiences."
Read the whole thing here and revel in the 5-sigma stompage.

MotherFucking Science Linky Love

Courtesy of Lubos, the hardest working man in string theory, I learned of this excellent aggregator for all things #MotherFuckingScience: Science 2.0. Go there, put it in your sidebar, all that good stuff.
Along the way, I was also reminded of the lesser, but still functional, utility of the Real Clear Science site--having become disenchanted with its cousin, Real Clear Politics, I had not visited in years. But there is some stuff there worth a perusal.
Now, there comes the issue of finding some Linky Love art that meets the standards you've come to expect--while still expressing some level of scienciness. No mean feat.
Luckily, I recalled that the protagonist in the original (not Asimov's)1939 short story "I, Robot" was named Adam Link. So, the next step was a small one...

I suddenly feel the urge to upload a large file.

T-Gif Friday Encore Of Awesome

GOODSTUFF said he calculated the wave propagation at 149,000 ms. I'm not sure he took the density of the medium into account. So I posted it again...for peer review purposes, yeah, that's it. And research, yeah. And maybe so I could make sure it ends up in the Rule 5 pile over at RSM. Besides, you can never have too much...SCIENCE! Newton would be proud.
