AGW Assclown Of The Week: Captain Carbon

Yes, AlGore hasn't made our list since he said it was millions of degrees just a few miles underground. But his latest 24 Hours of Insanity fest yielded this diamond of carbon reduction* among the routine rough of Ecotard excreta. Ten actions you can take to reduce your carbon footprint:

#9 -- "If online news is your preferred medium, choose an unplugged laptop or e-reader, rather than a plugged-in device for the majority of your browsing time."

Kevin Trenberth will now go hide at the bottom of the ocean with his missing heat.

Why not just keep them unplugged? If you never plug it in, it never requires charging from the eeeevil power companies. When the battery dies just throw it out and buy a new one. IT'S FOR TEH CHILDREN!!1!!!ELEVENTY!!1

The moronicity goes far beyond the electrical issue. There's a vast amount of material to be read that is 1) private/confidential
2) existed long before the digital era and will likely never be scanned
3)needs to be 'read' in large format.
For those reasons, and I'm sure many more, digital readers are not required, desired, or practical.
