Yeah, it was mildly amusing to see the NYT chastise the Guardian for being the bastion of ecoloonery the Times strives to be.
But then it got better, Today, the Times published it's own front page hysteria about the collapse of the Antarctic based on the same AGU press release--and even using the same headline: "Melting of Antarctic Ice is called unstoppable." apparently, they didn't check with Andy.
Oh, but that's not the punchline. It had already been delivered in The Australian:

Math teacher called into Rush today to break down how much energy would be required to melt the Antarctic icecap. By his numbers, it would take 15 trillion-trillion joules (the equivalent of detonating about 250k 50 megaton nuclear bombs) just to raise the ice temp by 1 degree celsius. Although math has never been the leftards' strong suit.
