Some geezer opens the door, and the hound instantly starts scarfing the bowl of Snickers and Baby Ruths. Of course you'd have to get them away from him before he chewed through the wrappers (dogs + chocolate = dead) but if would freak people out. And isn't that what Halloween is for?

Hopefully the houses you visit don't have dogs, that could get uncomfortable.

I used to believe chocolate would kill a dog, too. My step-daughter had a cocker spaniel (hate the little mothers) that she fed chocolate every day. It lived to be sixteen years old.
